When the Geordie Boys are in town you know that two thing’s are for certain:
Pharmacies will report a dramatic increase in fake tan sales
There’ll be fouls.
This isn’t a cosmetics tipping site so it’ll be the second one we are focussing on. In Newcastle’s last 9 games there’s been: 24,24,22,26,23,24,23,24,25 match fouls, that’s an impressive average of 23.8 fouls per game. If that average is reached then this has a superb chance.
It’s no surprise to hear that the majority of those fouls came in the midfield engine room. Bruno Guimaraes is the most fouled Newcastle midfielder but there’s absolutely zero value left on him. Joelinton, however, isn’t far behind him and has plenty of value. In his last 11 games, Joelinton has drawn an average of 2.2 fouls (using super-sub data) and won the 1+ fouls needed in 11/11.

In the Leicester city engine room will be Boubakary Soumaré. In his last 10 outings he’s averaged 1.2 fouls won per game and has drawn the 1+ fouls needed in 8/10. Newcastle are one of the highest foulers in the league.

Considering how many fouls are in Newcastle games, I also like the look of this long shot and when you see the stats I’m sure you’ll agree.
I’ve alluded to the fouls Joelinton draws for the main bet; he also commits plenty also. He’s committed the 1+ fouls needed in 12/13 recent games, failing only in the EFL cup, which is a competitive friendly, let’s face it!
Paterson Daka is finally getting a run in the Leicester side and he’s showing more fight than most. He’s committed the 1+ foul needed in 3/3 and has been fouled 6 times in his recent 3 appearances. He’ll be up against Murphy, Guimaraes, Tonali and Dan Burn who are all good for fouls; he’s also often subbed for Jordan Ayew who absolutely loves a tussle so super sub could well be our friend once again.

Let’s hope the stats play true; good luck to all that tail. 👍🏻🤞🏻
