Chelsea v Liverpool Foul Tips

Chelsea are on the cusp of retuning to Champions League football and they’ll be doing everything possible to ensure they don’t just fall short. On paper this is obviously the toughest game they’ll have all season but are they playing Liverpool at the perfect time?

The reds were crowned champions last weekend and I’m sure they’ll have celebrated by sinking a few baby shams this week. There’s a chance they might be slightly off the pace at Chelsea, nursing hangovers and also complacency with their mission already complete. Therefore I think the ‘fouls won’ angle that PaddyPower offer is the way to go today.

Enzo Fernandez continues to have incredible amounts of foul involvements, especially fouls won. He’s had the 2+ fouls won in 14/17 (82.3%) games so to still be getting EVS on this is amazing value.

The only times this bet failed was against Ipswich, Arsenal and Leicester where he won 1 foul. This is very understandable considering Leicester and Arsenal are two of the cleanest teams in the league and Ipswich were just sitting deep defending their 0-2 lead.

Levi Colwill has taken over from the injured Wesley Fofana as Chelsea’s hatchet man. He’s conceded the 2+ fouls in 5/6 (83%) most recent games and an incredible 17 in his last 6 alone. That’s a recent average of 2.83 per game and with Salah, Diaz and co. in town I think this is well worth taking on with lower stakes.
